Our workshop is equipt with the latest technology to Blockmount Posters, prints, calendars, postcards, photographs, maps, blue prints, graphs, certificates etc.

Procedure
The object is Dry mounted on a 12mm MDF wood with a Uni-Mount Dry Mounting Tissue and then Laminated with a UV Heat-seal film which protects the colours of the print from the damaging effects of the sunlight.

The Uni-mount Dry Mounting Tissue is manufactured to the very highest standards. It has a porous base paper, making it suitable for block mounting prints, posters and resin coated photographs.

The UV Heat-seal is a 90micron PH neutral acid-free PVC over laminating film, which contains UV filters and inhibitors that protects the print, thus it significantly reduces the fading of colours and images.

The above described Blockmounting process, is done by a Hot Vacuum Press at a 90C temperature.
