Blockmounting has been in Cyprus from the 80's. My father had a shop on Bouboulinas, under the old EAC (Electricity Authority Cyprus) called Mandala. His major work was on framing, but he used to blockmount at the same time.

Our coasters have been very successful so far. The demand for them have been great and has inspired us. At Comic Con Cyprus 14 and 15 we sold more than 1000 coasters in total. But as everything there was some room for improvement.

We are not replacing the wooden ones, but we are testing to improve them. Meanwhile we are introducing PVC coasters. PVC is a durable and strong plastic that is formed and shaped with ease. The design is printed on a waterproof Vinyl material that contains no paper. That means it will not absorb any water and it will not deform as time passes. Furthermore we are laminating the Vinyl print to protect it from any scratches, stains, smudge, hits, Godzilla and more.

The result is impressive. We love the outcome and this is what we will introduce in the next Comic Con!
